ID Clinics
- The Pediatric Infectious Diseases Clinic is available Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 5 p.m. on the lower level of Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
The Pediatric HIV Clinic cares for infants, children, and adolescents living with and/or exposed to HIV. The clinic meets Tuesday mornings from 9-noon.
FELLOW DIDACTICS
Case Conference is an opportunity for faculty and fellows, and representatives from other disciplines to discuss the most interesting, challenging cases on the Pedi ID Consult Service.
Faculty, fellows, and staff discuss & review interesting microbiologic results typically from patients on the Pedi ID Consult Service
This is a collaboration of adult and pediatric Infectious Disease physicians and fellows from multiple hospitals and academic institutions in Providence. Presentations include core ID lectures, clinical vignettes, and fellow lectures.
Monthly session for current fellows focused on preparing for the Pedi ID boards.
ID faculty, guest speakers and fellows from both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics present their research.
Faculty or guest speakers present on an immunology topic to prepare trainees for Pedi ID Board success and to recognize and evaluate patients with suspected immune defects. |
The fellow on the inpatient consult service presents the ID perspective on a topic in collaboration with the NICU team. |
Members of the pharmacy team offer a series of lectures on pharmacy topics to prepare trainees for success on the Pedi ID Board Exams.
Faculty or guest speakers present topics selected to prepare trainees to diagnose and treat infections in immunocompromised hosts and to supplement transplant ID training.
